nice! yesterday,the moon was very bright over here as well.

when i was with friends of mine in Kakadu, we were also doing some shots of the moon. we struggled with exposure settings to get the craters on it. so i would say: shorter shutter speed for this one (unless you want it this way of course).

Maybe i'm going to give at a go tonight so we can compare!

Yes Dirk this is the effect I was going for. Unfortunately my 55-250mm is not the best glass for Moon shots. I get my 70-200mm F2.8 USM Pro L type lens in the coming months (Early March)
