  1. I have been editing a lot lately as well. And I'm coming back from my view from a few months ago that it all has to stay real. I like this one a lot, not really in this size, but the full size version. It jumps out of my screen! I also like the other water lilies and the bird but i'm not so sure about the boat. That looks like a bad picture to start with. As it is now, I find just too dark. But the others: well done!

  2. I love the other lily one. As you can tell by now no doubt I go for a artistic look with my photos, not so much real. To as just how much manipulation of a photograph is okay is up to the photographer and there style. My photos are actually very under manipulated compared to most I like to say I'm sitting in the middle somewhere. As for keeping it real no so much my style, as I've said to both you and scott time and time again YOU HAVE TO BE DIFFERENT from the rest of the crowd or you just wont make it in this business. Something out tutors drum into our heads everyday. To recap I like the other lily one it's my fav by far, as for the boat one it's nothing special it didn't turn out the way I wanted but as it took me 40+minutes I thought I'd put it up for you guys to look at all the same.

Please look at this site it has aome award winning photoshop edited photos with great manipulation and it will make you think twicw before saying mine are to fake.

  3. The winner reminds me a bit of Jan Saudek, a Czech photographer who handpaints his analog photographs, no photoshop at all! Check him out:

I hope you'll be on that list one day!

  4. I will be sure to have a look see. I am working on some more photographs of me. This time a white background (High key) instead of low key like the ones with the black background. I will upload them in an hour or so be sure to have a look see. They are a little rushed as I'm doing it as home work to get use to the pen tool no so much as art work.
