No such thing as difficult lighting conditions with a 50mm prime could should in pitch black as long as you had a tri pod you would end up with something nice. I've only got the 1.8f but it's a beautiful lens. I love my dark photographs =) Most of these were shot at 5.8f can't remember the shutter speed off the top of my head I would have to check the meda data
my camera has its limitations there. the dynamic range of the sensor isn't as good as the bigger brands. the new model has that fixed they say, but i'm not ready to buy a new body already. It hits the roof at +1.7 already. So for these i'd really had to choose: the sky or the sand, even in our climate and latitude. i think my favourite would be the B&W and the number 4, it still has a bit more detail than the others. the 5 is a nice sunset, but one of soo many and the clipped sky in 3 is killing it a bit.
I am a photographer and have been taking photos for the better part of my life. I enjoy photographing just about anything but would have to say photographing models is definitely my favourite.
I specialise in WEDDING + PORTRAITURE + COMMERCIAL + EVENT + STOCK + TRAVEL & SPORTS PHOTOGRAPHY

Looks like difficult light conditions. Are you considering HDR to bring the extremes together?
